Biography:Lara Dutta is a beauty with brains who hails from Bangalore. She won the Miss Universe title in 2000. She made her Bollywood debut in Andaaz with fellow beauty queen Priyanka and hunky Akshay Kumar. There have been several reports of a rivalry between her and Priyanka, but they have both denied them. In the year 2000, while Priyanka won Miss World and Lara won Miss Universe, Dia mirza won Miss Asia Pacific, making it a hat-trick for India.
On the personal front, Lara was dating fellow model Kelly Dorjee for eight years and living in with him. But they split up last year for reasons best known to them and now Lara is dating Dino Morea, her friend since 15 years and Dino and Kelly have stopped talking becasue of her.
Lara is quite a fashion icon and has appeared on several magazine covers like Elle and Cosmopolitan. The 5'9 beauty loves shoes and was an athlete during her school days and she has 50 pairs of sports shoes.
Lara is known for her intelligence and quick wit and she has the highest score in Miss Universe history in the question answer round. Her other big release in 2007 was Partner with Salman Khan, Govinda and Katrina Kaif. Her work in Zinda with Sanjay Dutt was particularly good and she carried off bold scenes with class and elan. Lara has done item numbers, the most popular being Aisa Jaadu Dala Re from Khakee. One of the biggest hits of her career in No entry  in 2003, where she played Anil Kapoor's wife. The film also starred Fardeen Khan, Salman Khan and Bipasha Basu, among others. She also starred in Kaal with Vivek Oberoi, John Abraham and Esha Deol. Her future projects include the Ashtavinayak film Blue with Sanjay Dutt and she has lost weight for the movie as she will sport a bikini in the film.
