Biography: Mahima Chaudhry started her career in movies with the highly acclaimed Pardes. She co-starred in a Pepsi commercial but was overshadowed by Aishwarya Rai. Her career was launched by Mahesh Bhatt, who had launched to careers of many acclaimed stars like Madhuri Dixit, Meenakshi Seshadri and Manisha Koirala. She changed her name from Ritu Chaudhry to Mahima on the behest of Mahesh Bhatt as he believed that launching the careers of people whose name’s start with M was auspicious for him. Right from the beginning of her career Mahima has never hesitated to play a supporting role in films  i.e. Dhadkan and Dil Kya Kare. As an actress Mahima has taken on many versatile role that most other actresses wouldn’t do. Mahima also likes to work with different actresses and has so far worked with Kajol, Shilpa Shetty, Urmila Matondkar, Manisha Koirala, Raveena Tandon, Rekha, Preity Zinta, Tabu, Padmini Kolhapure and Hema Malini.
