Rohatgi is an engineering graduate. She won the coveted title of
Supermodel Miss Tourism World in 2001, despite stiff competition from
65 countries. She was also a Femina Miss India Finalist in 2000.
Payal
was always attracted to the glamorous world of modeling and fashion,
and when the right opportunity came her way she gave up the engineering
sector to pursue her dreams.
Payal shot to fame with
television ads like Cadbury Temptations ad and other commercials
including Jaguar Bath Panel, Nescafe Cold Coffee, LG Refrigerator,
Britannia Biscuit, Wright Pen, Gits Food Mix. She then also starred in
music videos by Silk Route and indipopper KK.
Payal began her Bollywood innings with Harry Baweja´s Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai. She later consolidated her position as a Bollywood sex bomb with Tauba Tauba.
