| Prabhu Deva, Ganesh Acharya to feature in Remo D'Souza's next Detail |
So what is choreographer turned director Remo D'Souza attempting next, after the success of F.A.L.T.U.? Well, Remo is making a dance-based film, which will be produced by UTV. What makes the project special is the fact that Remo has signed top notch choreographers Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya [who are directors as well], besides Javed Jaffrey, to feature in pivotal roles in this film. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that the film will be made in 3D and will also feature the young talents from a hugely popular dance-based show.
Remo begins filming in November this year. Reportedly, the film is based on the Hollywood film STEP UP. "Since it's a dance-based film and is being made in 3D, people may feel that I may have borrowed from that film. But it's untrue. Mine is a completely desi film about an underdog," Remo clarifies. Sachin-Jigar score the music of this film. |
